The Ankara Clothing for All Looks

According to Bellanaija The Ankara fabric is known to symbolise African fashion, thus, when used by a non-Africa fashion brand, the design is labelled ‘African-inspired’.There has been a lot of talk about the recent proliferation of the Ankara fabric in the international fashion scene, and many designers are now using the fabric either to blend it with their existing designs or they are using it purely to make unique designs.

A lot about the fabric evokes Africa; the vibrant print is reflective of our bold and sometimes, exuberant culture and lifestyle and the texture which is suitable for a majority of African climates. I tend to think that the ankara fabric can be worn with almost anything as long as you know how to mix an match. Here in kenya and the rest of east africa we dont usually refer to the fabric as ankara but instead its widely known as kitenge.

If you love the ankara fabric why dont you visit ankaraclothing  and see if they got a thing for you.
