Acocording to O's Winter Fashion Handbook,A peplum can give the illusion of a smaller waist.
A well-placed peplum can hide a thicker middle. The tree basic rules for wearing a peplum dress/skirt are:
1. Choose a soft material in a silhouette that isn't too extreme, so the look is more modern, less Mad Men.
2. Whatever you wear below the pouf should be streamlined: a pencil skirt or tapered pants.
3. Accessories should contrast with the ladylike vibe—choose an edgy metallic clutch or a bright stiletto.

Aspiga
Background
I set up aspiga seven years ago after visiting Kenya on holiday, and
falling in love, not only with the country itself, but with their
stunning sandals and so many of their other wonderful hand made
products. Luckily, many of you also seem to love their products, so
the company has expanded rapidly over the last few years.
Local Suppliers
I now have 6 suppliers in Kenya (where the majority of our products are
made), who are individuals, with small work forces (not large
factories) giving much needed jobs to local men and women in their
community. The work they receive from aspiga, they often tell us,
ensures their livelihoods and that of their families. Please take a
look at our Producers link to find out more.
Our Commitment
I am especially proud that aspiga, is not only selling some fabulous
accessories, but is also helping to fight poverty in Africa, through
trade.
We are also proud that we donate a percentage of our profits to The Brydges centre,
a children's orphanage just outside Nairobi, who struggle financially
on a daily basis, to carry out their hugely valuable and necessary work.
I feel very fortunate that I now have a reason to visit such a
beautiful country, with some of the friendliest and happiest people I
have ever met.
In 2012 we have expanded our range quite extensively realising that
people visiting our website are normally shopping for their holidays, so
we now sell some fantastic swim wear and beach wear brands, along with
great jewellery and accessories – hopefully making us your “one stop
holiday shop”
Masai beads at its best I must say, check out their Facebook page at Aspiga for more elegant pictures.

Adele Dejak
Adèle Dejak cut her teeth in the world of typographic design in England
and Italy before moving to Nairobi, Kenya in 2005 and turning her
attention to accessories design. Adèle found herself intrigued by the
natural beauty of horn and begun to experiment with techniques of
creating uniques shapes and fashioned pieces. Her flair was noticed and
spurned on by an admirer of one of her creations who encouraged Adèle to
set up shop creating unique shapes to wear. Dejak's Nigerian roots
begun to merge perfectly with European influences and she set out on her
never-ending quest for that essential artefact that allows you to
express your own style.Below is some of their elegant collection in pictures.Dont forget to also check out Fashion Blog on Facebook.
